Liz Rang is an emerging contemporary mixed media painting and sketch artist. Self-taught, her evolving style reflects surrealism and expressionism with pop art influences. Medias include acrylic, watercolor and watercolor pencil, ink, collage and oil pastel.

Liz’s art is influenced by her personal spiritual journey, her love for femininity and most of all her wonder at her experiences and the world around her. Paintings and compositions reflect personal discoveries, emotions, beliefs and experiences as they occur. Each painting has a personal message and a mood which she expresses in the elements of composition, the styles and techniques, chosen media(s) and colors. Her studio blares music which could range from current pop (her favorite) to country, classical, and occasionally a bit of Danzig and the like - dependent upon the mood that she’s expressing in her art work.
